The life of a CEO or business owner is packed to the brim with pre-scheduled mandatory tasks. From the physical work of running a business to the emotional and mental stressors that come with it, the lives of leaders are often filled with anxiety and light on free time. As a result, finding time to work out or maintain your own physical and mental health in such positions can seem next to impossible. Studies suggest that keeping fit, both physically and mentally, can put you in a better mood, allow you to make better decisions, and feel more well-regulated. But as a busy professional, if you struggle to find the time for such things, Robb Zavoso is here to help.

Robb Zavoso is a health and fitness consultant specializing in optimizing the well-being of CEOs and business owners by using an ancestral approach to health and fitness. His unique journey of personal recovery and discovery sets him apart as someone who understands the specific needs of high-performing professionals, helping them reclaim their energy, vitality, and overall health despite their demanding schedules.

Personal Transformation

Zavoso understands how difficult it can be to prioritize fitness in the face of high stress because he’s been through it himself. His journey took him from debilitating health issues to personal recovery using his own unique ancestral lifestyle approach.

“I tried different diets, which led me to destroy my health in the process. This led to joint pain, poor gut health, hormone imbalance, autoimmune conditions, and overall lots of inflammation. Doctors couldn’t even help me,” Zavoso says. But with his health and fitness approach, he was “able to recover my health within 6 months following an ancestral influenced lifestyle, all while running a business.”

Before and After

Understanding CEOs’ Challenges

As a business owner himself, Zavoso understands the intense pressures CEOs face and how neglecting health can harm performance. To be an effective CEO, Zavoso believes that you must maintain your fitness, which seems paradoxical. Taking time to work on your fitness means taking time away from the business, but Zavoso says that life is like one big ecosystem, and to neglect your health is to cause disaster on every front.

Unique Fitness Philosophy

Zavoso’s focus on time-efficient, sustainable fitness routines—tailored to those who work long hours—sets him apart from other health influencers and trainers.

“Through my research and experiences, I’ve learned that there is an enormous amount of misinformation about the true keys to optimizing your health and fitness, while also being effective with your output of energy and time,” Zavoso says.

Ancestral Approach to Health

A focus on high-quality animal-based nutrition and daily walking, which Zavoso discovered to be key for his recovery and ongoing vitality.

Zavoso believes that this way of eating is more focused on the perspective of early humans who were hunter-gatherers. “I experienced first-hand how life-changing it was to fully optimize my health,” he describes, “Both on a personal and a professional level. My nutrition and lifestyle now consist of focusing on high-quality animal foods (protein and fats), along with organic, low toxic vegetables and fruits.”

Forging a Path Forward

Through perseverance, innovation, and dedication, Robb Zavoso was able to carve out a path for himself and his fitness that he believes can help others. Completely revitalizing his health while still running a business was an immense challenge, but one that afforded Zavoso unique insight that he now hopes to use to help others in leadership positions, to show them a better, healthier way to lead through action.
