India’s Eva Live has appointed Manuj Agarwal as its new Chief Executive Officer in a significant development. Agarwal’s impressive accomplishments in the music, sport, media, and entertainment industries will be a considerable asset to Eva Live, the quickly growing Indian intellectual property (IP) and live event conglomerate started by Deepak Choudhary. With the exciting announcement of the Indian tour dates of Bryan Adams’ ‘So Happy It Hurts’ World Tour, Eva Live recently cemented its growing presence in the concerts market.
Manuj Agarwal, a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the industry, has joined Eva Live. His career, which includes leadership roles at Balaji Telefilms, Sahara TV, Zee TV, Marico, and the Walt Disney Group, is marked by significant contributions to the growth of these organizations. His most recent role as the CEO of Percept Live saw him driving the company’s growth with his strategic vision and leadership skills. Agarwal’s ability to drive innovation and deliver results in the competitive entertainment and media industry is well-known, making him a valuable addition to Eva Live.
“Eva Live is a world-class company with a proven track record of establishing industry-leading intellectual properties that artists and fans love, and I’m thrilled to be joining at a time of immense opportunity and growth,” Agarwal says of his new role.
At Eva Live, Agarwal will use his wide breadth of knowledge and industry expertise to direct the company’s rapid expansion in the live event and concert business across India, Asia, and the Middle East. He will also focus on “managing and leveraging” Eva Live’s present intellectual properties while developing new, dynamic, and innovative IPs.
“Innovation is the heartbeat of Eva Live and Manuj Agarwal’s addition to our team, which will help challenge the status quo and craft groundbreaking live events and experiences that engage, inspire, and leave a lasting impression. Our vision is to redefine the landscape of live events and international concerts. We’re committed to creating unforgettable experiences that connect consumers and brands and drive emotional connections,” Vinod Janardhan, Director of Eva Live, said.
Under Agarwal’s leadership, Eva Live plans to leverage advanced technology and creative storytelling to transform the live events industry. With his extensive background in traditional and digital media, Agarwal is poised to introduce innovative formats and immersive experiences to set new standards in the field. The company aims to continue collaborations with top-tier artists, brands, and venues worldwide, each unique and impactful event.
In 2023, Deepak Choudhary, the ‘IP Man of India,’ founded Eva Live to “build experiences across communities.” The company swiftly rose to prominence in India’s live event and entertainment industry following the success of multiple live events such as Big Boys Toys, Bollywood Music Project, Edutainment Show, India Games Expo, Social Nation, and Windmill Festival.
With Manuj Agarwal at its helm, Eva Live plans to expand its influence further, focusing on global tours and music concerts. With Agarwal and Choudhary’s combined experience and vision, Eva Live is ready to lead the way in innovation and growth in the live events industry.
“A huge welcome to Manuj Agarwal and the Eva Live family. With several existing projects in the pipeline, his experience and knowledge will greatly enhance our existing team to propel and drive our live event business and concert development strategy to the next level,” Deepak Choudhary, founder and Managing Director of Eva Live, said.
